TAN is dedicated to promoting high-level networking and relationships among professionals who are trusted advisors to their clients and to one another.

TAN has created a set of principles embraced by all of its members:

• Networking is about quality relationships – TAN is not a tips club. It is a consortium of quality professionals who meet regularly in order to enhance both their business and personal lives.
• Networking is about giving – Before you can expect to get, you have to be willing to give.
• Networking is personal – Professionals work with those they trust. Trust comes from becoming knowledgeable about one another above and beyond just professional endeavors.
• Promotion of networking skills – TAN members are dedicated to the continued promotion of their networking skills.
• Networking builds personal capabilities – The more quality professionals you meet and learn about, the more capabilities you have to bring to your clients and contacts.
• TAN is inclusive – TAN welcomes all quality professionals who are dedicated to its principles. We do not limit membership to just one of a particular profession though we do maintain a balance of business expertise.
• TAN is committed to your success – We encourage members to expand personal networks, making valuable business contacts, and building new and enjoyable personal relationships.

Membership Requirements

Membership Requirements

• You must be a trusted advisor who works directly with business owners and/or C-level management.
• You must be invited to a meeting by a TAN member.
• You must attend at least two meetings before you may submit a membership application.
• You may attend a maximum of three meetings before you must submit an application (see application form on the left side of this page).
• Your application must be approved by the membership committee. You will know that you have been accepted when you receive your annual dues invoice.
• Dues are $300.00 per year plus $100.00 per year for additional representatives from your company plus NM GRT. DON'T SEND MONEY until you receive an invoice from TAN.

What a great evening my wife and I had at the TAN social event. I truly enjoyed the venue, but even more so, the company that was present was truly inspiring.

"Quality" seems to sum up the type of individuals who were there. People like yourselves, Ken Jacobson, Julia Chong, Ryan (from Morgan Stanley), John Rice, Patrick Garr, and many others were all a true pleasure to get to know better in a completely different setting.

Having young children, it was also an excuse to get out of the house with my wife! To say the least, she enjoyed meeting such fine people and having stimulating conversations that fell well outside the realm of sippy cups, "my little pony", and "is his diaper dirty already?"

Excellent Resources

I just wanted to follow up with my experience with TAN from our breakfast conversation.

One of the greatest benefits for me is that I now have a number of resources for my clients that I did not have before. I have qualified contacts in a number of areas that I know I can send clients to. and know that they will be taken care of.

Of course. I have received some referrals which I have been very grateful for but being able to better serve the existing clients I have has been great.

The other benefit is that this entire group has made me take a look at my career and what I want out of it. The level of professionalism in this group is unbelievable and has made me take a look at where I am in my career and how much better I can do and has made me really start focus in more on my future and where I want it to go.
